Follow the order from the patient record
Dispensing begins with the patient’s needs and continues through an order that the practice must track. ZenOptix supports patient-linked dispensing orders and order status visibility, keeping commercial activity connected to the wider patient journey. Staff can assess the order in context instead of relying on a separate list with little connection to the visit.

The lab order leaves the practice in one click
Dispensing orders hold the full per-pair frame and lens specification, measurements and estimate. When the order is ready, ZenOptix produces a lab order PDF and emails it to a named lab on the practice’s behalf with the PDF attached, which moves the order to Ordered automatically. Re-sends are flagged as UPDATE so a lab cannot work to a superseded copy. The order then runs through its status pipeline to collection with full history, and the sale can be created straight from the order, including deposits and part payments.

Connect dispensing, stock and sale
Frame selection, product availability and payment sit alongside dispensing. ZenOptix brings dispensing, stock and till/POS into the same practice platform. That gives the team a connected workflow to evaluate from the initial order through retail activity, with product and patient context available across the relevant modules.

Test the handovers, not just order creation
