01

Keep the examination in the patient journey

ZenOptix organises clinical visits, notes, prescriptions and images in a guided workflow. The aim is to keep clinical activity connected to the patient record, so the team can move from appointment to examination with the right context. The software supports documentation and workflow; clinical decisions remain with the practitioner.

02

A guided examination workspace built for clinic speed

The examination moves through tabbed sections covering history, VA and refraction, ocular health, tests, prescription, advice and sign-off, with a live progress panel showing what is still outstanding. Repetition is removed where it is safe to remove it: copy objective findings into subjective and subjective into the final Rx, copy one eye into the other, carry ocular health findings forward from the last examination, pull the previous prescription in as a starting point, and apply practice-configurable quick-fill presets for normal findings. A Pre-Test area captures IOP, habitual Rx and images before the examination begins, so the test starts with the data already in place.

03

Prescriptions issued in one click, and records that hold

A finished refraction becomes an issued and printed prescription in one click, numbered, locked, snapshotted and audited. Clinical images can be uploaded, viewed, annotated and shared against the patient record, and shared to the patient portal image by image when the practice chooses. Completed examinations lock, and later changes are recorded as amendments rather than silent edits, so the record shows what was known and when.

04

Make the handover to dispensing clearer

An examination and a dispensing order are linked parts of the patient’s visit. Bringing clinical and dispensing workflows into one platform helps the next team member work in the same patient context. Role-based access and audit-focused design support clear responsibilities for clinical information and important changes.

05

Walk through your examination process

Use the demo to review your usual examination sequence, note-taking requirements, prescription handling and image workflow. Ask to see how the team returns to an existing visit and how information carries into dispensing. Confirm the exact scope required by your practice before onboarding rather than judging suitability from a feature label alone.
